Description
From what I know, supporting right-to-left locales has four levels:
- the entire UI must switch from a left-oriented to a right-oriented layout (e.g. the action bar must be on the left, the view chooser of a Content app on the right, the "#selected or #total" label in the status bar must be on the right as well.)
- the UI elements themselves must switch from a left-to-right to a right-to-left layout (e.g. the view chooser shows the views in different order, check boxes must move to the right or an action in the action bar must show its icon on the right and the action name on the left)
- labels and texts must be written right-to-left
- inside texts, one or several words may still show up left-to-right (e.g. in Arabic, English terms are printed left-to-right in a generally right-to-left written text)
