    Description

      Magnolia's current Vaadin version is 8.9.4 released on 20th December 2019. In the meantime Vaadin has released 3 LTS features/bug fix versions and is at version 8.12.4 https://vaadin.com/download/release/8.12/8.12.4/release-notes.html

      Updating to the latest version of the Vaadin framework in the 8.x line will fix several issues, including security ones, as well as improvements and features. Another downside of sticking with a semi-dated version is that browser support might no longer be on par with latest browser versions.
