It appears that the documentation is from a previous version of the module, at least the part about properties exclusion and depth.

The documentation says it has to be done in the Content app, but we have found that the module includes a config.yaml file with the configuration.

• We will have problems if the config is there because we have to make different configurations based on the apps.
• We have a tree structure (hotel->room section -> room -> characteristic), and we want to only show differences from the hotel, when we compare the hotel, and not also show the difference between child rooms in the same comparison, for example.
