      Description

When protecting Switch field with links, only current selected link is protected andthe whole field gets the property 'disablemastercontentchanges' used for breaking livecopies, and the property linktypepage (if we selected a page) is protected but the switch field is not, so master could select a external link and overwrite this field anyway (this does not happen because of the break live copy property). then the icon protect/unprotect is useless for the link itself, there is no way to unprotect the link without going through JCR.

I think it should not use the break live copy property, and if you protect the switch field or any of the links inside you should protect/unprotect everything i.e. [linktype, linktypepage, linktypeexternal] not just current behaviour [linktypepage]

      AC

      • When a component with a complex attribute (e.g.  composite/switchable/multi) has been protected, Push from master has no effect on such attributes.
      • When a component with a complex attribute (e.g.  composite/switchable/multi) has been unprotected, Push from master has effect again on such attributes.
