Protect field in Switchable Field doesn't work

Steps to reproduce

1.  Create live copy for MultiValueCompositeRichTextField
2.  Click on "Relink all pages to live copy pages" and tick on "Disable updates from master on relink components" 
3. Open the live copy page after relink, the protection icon is red but the content is not actually protected if user push any change from master
