The DAM-preview module now uses PDFBox to render pdf previews. Because pdfbox is already bundled as 1.8.6 in webapps (via tika-parsers), we must make sure dam can use the same version, directly via dependencyManagement. Therefore we need to manage the pdfbox dependency in main parent pom (and keep it in sync with tika).
