On Windows a "cacheC" folder is created and used instead of the predefined "cache" folder. This may be related to an issue in info.magnolia.cms.core.Path#getCacheDirectory. Caching functionality should not be affected anyway.
The odd folder name may be due to C referring to C: drive in Windows. Then the subfolders basically mirror the absolute path to the web app. e.g. suppose the web app is under c:\\foo\apache-tomcat\webapps\magnolia-webapp then the cache folder structure is something like cacheC\foo\apache-tomcat\magnolia-webapp.
