When an author publishes a page, publish also dependent content items to prevent incomplete publications.

Pages are mix of content from many sources: assets from the DAM and content items from apps. We already keep track of these dependencies. The next logical step is to check for dependent items and include them in the publishing action if the user wishes to do so.

• Publish dependent content by default or offer the user an option to publish dependent content.
• Alert the user if publishing a page will result in publishing related content. Tell the user what exactly will be published.
• Allow the user to see a list of dependent content.
