The current slider looks ugly and like broken.

In a recent design for a zoom slider for the media editor (a future change), a new slider was designed, which would fit nicely here as well - see the attached screen shot.

Let's change the slider to look like this (magnifying glass in front, followed by a slider with a small knob), but without the percentage display at the right. And being dark on the light gray app panel background, of course.
