Currently the generated row preview images are several times bigger than the browser tree requires. This affects browsing asset hierarchies (depends on the amount of assets).
This also may cause oddities with Vaadin TreeTable rendering: the row rendering phases might get slowed down by multiple pending preview images loading and in certain cases the TreeTable UI state may be corrupted (e.g. visual loss of selection).
Supposedly serving smaller preview images could improve the situation and speed things up.
