Description
When editing an image the output of the image seems to always be PNG. Even in the case when you start with JPG.
The problem here is that the image metadata is not updated to reflect this. It would still appear to the user that the image is JPG. Only when you download the image and inspect the binary data do you see the image is in fact PNG.
I see 2 solutions:
- The input format should be the same as the output format.
- The metadata should be updated to PNG and we should make this transparent in the documentation.
Steps to reproduce:
- Edit this JPG image.
- Crop the image. Then Save.
- Click Download.
- Open the image with a text editor and observe it's encoded as PNG.
