By default the new property is true but can be set to false in some configurations, for instance when one does not have the necessary credentials for a given provider (e.g. S3, Bynder).
This will prevent the related dam subapp from starting thus avoiding nasty, ugly, brutish errors to be thrown in the customer's face.
