We currently don't warn administrators, if a license is about to expire. This means that if administrators don't have enough time to apply for a license renewal and are often confronted with an instance that has just gone down due to license issues. This is unacceptable.
There's a UX concept that describes how we handle the product license. It calls for administrators to be warned using messages in Pulse, if a license is about to expire.
