Visitor, country, date and cookies traits are located in the compatibility module because they use Magnolia 5.x UI. With re-introduction of the traits module in version 2.1, we might want to migrate these traits to the new UI and move them to the traits module.

There do seem to be some issues using the latest fields. Specifically inconsistent behavior in the preview app when changing trait values.

when using a custom trait that is using a combobox to select different values, it is not possible to select a combobox entry occasionally. When you selected a value the site does not reload.
