The Resources app in 5.4 only offers a tree view. A List view with sortable columns would make it easier to locate a specific resource and to sort all available resources by attributes such as the format. The latter is especially important as our trees still can't be sorted (see MGNLUI-106).

• A List view without sorting option, however, doesn't offer any clear benefit, but may be justified to ease development of a Search view (see BL-314).
• The original design includes various grouping options, which would improve the browsing experience, but which I don't consider essential for a first implementation of a List view.
