If an app lives in a group that has no color defined, then we have a bunch of inconsistencies in the UI:
- Temporary group does have hover/active color when it's open
- Running apps within that group have no active color
- Apps within that group show no app icon next to their main tab label
We should probably assign a default color, at least make sure that app states still behave consistently.
