To reproduce:

• Create incorrectly configured app so that sub apps are not recognised, or create an app without any sub apps.
• open another browser tab with the configuration or other app open
• attempt to open app by specifying url directly such as /admincentral:app:myapp

result:

• in up app starts loading, you will see application tab with name of the app and spinning wheel
• in console NPE will be logged (see attached stack trace)
• location handling is not working anymore in other browser tabs where you have logged to same application until relogin.
