To reproduce try to open in a new browser tab e.g.

• http://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:mail:verify;
• http://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:forum:moderation;
• http://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:groovy:console;

These are all subapp locations which normally open in the second tab of the app but which in this case show the main app or the one displayed in the first tab whereas one would expect the second tab to be selected and the relative sub app shown.
