Item selection is painfully slow on ipad on tree and list views.

      When tapping on rows with your finger you can visibly see the rows getting chunkily hilighted and unhilighted. Not all at once. And it sometimes takes a few seconds.

      Rows should be hilighted and unhilighted as fast as they do on the desktop.
