Part of the resurface effort is to simplify the structure of the dialogs, which involves abandoning the current custom components in favour of the stock Vaadin components. The solution to the linked issue (MGNLUI-4614) ships the rudimentary bridge from the legacy dialog machinery (FormDialogPresenter, FormView etc) to the new dialog UI implementation based on the DialogBuilder API.

However, the large part of the implementation is still missing:

• validation
• i18n
