Inconsistent behavior:

• When opening the apps, it seems they appear first for a fraction of a second and then the slide-up animation occurs.
• While closing the apps, there's sometimes slide-up animation and sometimes not.

See the videos for demonstration. Tip! Hold down the Right Arrow key when playing the video in Quicktime Player. It plays in slow motion. You can see how an app first opens fully and only then animates in. This causes the flickering.

Expected behavior / acceptance criteria:

• All apps slide up when you return to them via app launcher tile. Animation must be visible and consistent for all apps.
• When you close an app, the next app in the stack slides up.
  • In both cases it is important for the user to understand where the app came from.
• Eliminate the flicker that happens where an app is briefly displayed in full before the slide-up animation.
