When any element in "app" section is clicked (In Next view, not in Apps one) a wrong application is opened (check attachment)

Only in Safari. Chrome and Firefox do not have that issue.

Some observations:

• while mouse clicks are treated erroneously, keyboard focus seems to work consistently
• probably related - the app viewport sometimes gets stuck being rendered over the findbar results and wouldn't go away and wouldn't even interact with user actions, because it stay covered with a dark shim.

The goal is to investigate and come up with a solution if possible of at least the explanantion.
