It is not possible sorting by path.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:configuration:browser;/modules/pages/apps/pages/subApps/browser/workbench/contentViews/list/columns/path:treeview:
2. Add property sortable=true (it is not really needed since it seems that sorting arrows are available by default)

Something happens the first time you click, but nothing happens after that.

Since path column is using info.magnolia.ui.workbench.column.PathColumnFormatter and this feature is missed.
