Steps to reproduce

• Log in with a user that has not yet acknowledged the usage metrics popup
• Right after login hit enter (side note: I thought I could get the popup away with enter == Ok button)

Expected results

• Nothing happens

Actual results

• NPE is thrown
• Error banner cannot be clicked away, only when opening an app

Development notes

• w/o the popup, the keyboard focus is on the find bar - hitting enter right away has no effect (which is correct)
• either handle the enter and do nothing or direct it to acknowledge the popup
