Opening up a link field pointing to a removed item throws ClassCastException and renders cancel button disabled

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Delete https://demo.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:jcr-browser-app:browser;/travel/meta/search-results::
      2. Edit page properties of https://demo.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:pages-app:detail;/travel:edit
      3. Go to the Search tab
      4. Click on "Select new" button
      5. Check the layout buttons have been disabled

      Expected results

      The Close and Commit button are enabled

      Actual results

      Both buttons get disabled

      Workaround

      Select an item.

      Development notes

      Check attachments to see the exception is thrown when "Select New" button is clicked
      info.magnolia.ui.editor.converter.MissingNode#isNode should likely return true.
      Test how this change behaves in jcrMultiValueField
