Steps to reproduce

1. Go to pages app demo
2. Open an asset chooser dialog
3. Expand folders and items so the scrollbar appears (only appears when you have lots of results and a scrollbar)
4. Scroll down to a lower position
5. Search for 'to'

.. Logs, screenshots, gifs...

Expected results

When returning search result the scroll position of the list jumps to the top.

.. Justify non-trivial expectations with a link to a doc or a relevant discussion.

Actual results

The scroll position stays where it is.

Happens in tree and list view.
