Rejection request notification banner does not appear till refresh

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to demo app and open Pages app
2. Publish a page and assign the task 
3. Reject the Task
4. Check no banner is displayed
5. Go to other app or refresh browser
6. Check the notification banner appears

Expected results

The banner is shown once you reject the task

Actual results

The banner is shown only after refresh or switching to other content app
