As it stands the Select All checkbox doesn't meet usability criteria nor meet the use case of helping editors to select, or deselect, multi-search results easily. 

We have therefore agreed that to avoid a confusing experience, and limit repercussions on the overall performance; we will keep the Select All checobox functionality on the List View only.

• Ability to apply the Select All checkbox only when searching, in the List view - but not in the Tree view
• Implement the indeterminate state to the Select All checkbox: when I select one or multiple items (but not all), the checkbox background turns -> MGNLUI-8729
