 Description

Follow up from ABTEST-54

As a user, when I complete a test I want to be able to choose if to "Keep the Original" if I wish, rather than replace the original with a new variant:

AC:

In the 'Complete test' dialog, I can see:

  • The winning variant - with its conversion rate
    • If the editor completes the test without a Winning Variant: add static test “No winning variant”
  • Other variant(s) - with their conversion rates
    • track variants vertically, the dialog will/should expand automatically
    • limit to 3 variants to start with. the 3 with the highest conversion rates
  • Original - with its conversion rate

A drop down menu will enable me to replace Original by

  • Do not replace - I complete the test keeping the Original page
  • Variants (list) - I complete the test replacing the Original page with the chosen variant

  1. tack variants vertically, the dialog will/should expand automatically
  2. i don’t know, we’d have to ask for the user requirement. is there something like a scrollable list we could use? not sure what to do here in case of e.g. 20 variants, maybe limit to 3 is a good idea
  3. i would add static test: “No winning variant”
  4. yes sure, “Do not replace” is better (whatever @Julie says) / i’d prefer a single select box with all options instead of radios and then select box > keep it simple
  5. oooh, this is getting tricky, in this case i would say “No winning variant” and then add all of them under Other variants
