 Description

Change the description of these labels and add tooltips with working example for: Base Conversion, Confidence & Uplift

Labels

  • Base conversion is the existing conversion rate of the control variant.
  • Uplift is the improvement (in %) you would like to achieve relative to the base conversion.
  • Confidence level is the likelihood (in %) that the uplift reported by the test is correct. 95% is the normal choice.

Tooltips (working examples)

  • Base conversion --> The existing design that will become the Control Variant has a conversion rate of 10%
  • Uplift --> You would like to lift the Base Conversion to 12%. This would be represent an Uplift in conversion rate of 20%
  • Confidence level:
    • The Confidence Level tells the test how certain (in %) you want to be that the stated Conversion Rate of the winning variant is correct.
    • Setting a Confidence level of 95% means that the 19 out of 20 times the actual conversion rate of the winning variant falls within the stated Confidence Interval

Hi ldelnevo,

Thank you for taking a look.

I did update the 3 tweaks.

About Tooltip, currently it's grey when hover by default. My screenshot doesn't turn grey because i hover out to something else when capturing.

About re-styling slider, yes, i think we should have a separate ticket for it because we may need a grooming session to discuss what should we do with it (because currently we depend partially on ui style which change quite often).
