  2. Type open Pages App into findbar
  3. ENTER
  4. Add page (to root = without selecting an item)
  5. Fill a name, select a template
  6. ENTER
  7. ENTER again if the template has a dialog

Expected results

User is returned to Pages app browser view

Actual results

Suggestions view is displayed

While the probability that "end-users" (customers) may run into this, likely is relatively low,
this bug has a relatively big impact on existing UI-tests, leading to many failures.

This bug also affects SaaS somehow, as observed in assets e2e tests (despite not having the new app-launcher yet). However the time frame at which we started to observe failures may coincide with integration of the Vaadin upgrade MGNLUI-7211 (cannot trace back fully due to lack of Jenkins history).

The reason why Suggestions view is displayed is because the text input in the findbar receives the focus. This triggers a vaadin push which is handled by FindBarLayout to display the suggestions view. So the question is why the text input receives the focus.

After different alternatives, debugging and trying to understand this issue for quite a few hours, I haven't found a solution yet.
