 Description

Currently, our GA integration supports only one dimension and one metric configuration. However, GA supports multiple options for those configurations.

AC

  • Support multiple dimensions
  • Support multiple metrics

For more information, GA has already supported multi dimensions and metrics before. See https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/ANALYTICS-65. But we change the config of all options to parameter of data supplier so now I suggest we can provide another config for GA like:

This is multiple dimension and metric

parameters:
  viewId: 191451330
  startDate: 7DaysAgo
  endDate: today
  dimensionName: ga:date,ga:sessionCount
  metricExpression: ga:sessions,ga:users

This is one dimension and metric

parameters:
  viewId: 191451330
  startDate: 7DaysAgo
  endDate: today
  dimensionName: ga:date
  metricExpression: ga:sessions
