Make the default chart types configurable:
1 "Metric number" is a chart type that displays a single number. (It is often combined in analytics with a relative change compared to the previous time period, so you might see "+15%" is small print in the chart footer or a tiny spark chart.) Google Analytics calls this chart type a "Metric" which is confusing because metric is also the quantitative thing you are trying to measure, such as Sessions. Let's call it "Metric number" in the UI to avoid the confusion. See also Metric number widget type in the Editorial Dashboard Stories. |
