 Description

In "sub-app-mode" - uploading an asset currently is very unreliable.

When tesing it on https://author.integration-tests.eu-playground.magnolia-platform.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:dam:cloudinaryBrowser today (5.1.2024) - it almost always fails ... but it fails silently.

When uploading an asset manually (not with Selenium, just in normal browser): * in 9 of 10 times - or even less - I cannot see the new asset on the grid

  • but no error is indicated on the UI
  • Eventually, maybe you will find the new asset after couple of minutes.
  • but you need to refresh browser and what not … to see the new asset

In December 2023 it seemed to work more often.

Not sure why the reliability went down.
In current status the feature is not usable for end-user.

It might have been fixed on 1.2.1 on CLOUDINARY-57
