 Description

[Some words/texts have been modified for clarity.]

  • We have seen fields like dates that show the date in JCR format.
  • It will be useful in this case and others if we can configure a format function for the properties and show the JCR data formatted in the table.

Hi cweber ,

Could you please help me to ask about this requirement, is this only apply for date? Or they want to format other data like number, currency...If it does, could they please give me some example, specific cases as each of data need to call other format processor.

Thanks you so much!

Hi cweber ,

For this ticket, I've finished implement to provide configuration for date format only. If there is other requirement, please help to create another ticket for it. Many thanks!

Hi yen.lactue, There's additional input. Shall I create a new ticket?

We think it will be more useful to put a function class as parameter instead of including the date format inside the diff (you can leave it there now that is done). This way, if in the future we have to format a specific data (currency, meters to feet…) we can create a new function class and put it in the configuration. It will be nice if an example function is given to know how to configure it.

Hi cweber ,

Yes, please help to create a new ticket as I need to find a generic solution for that requirement

Again, thanks you so much for your help :bow !!!
