 Description

An article consists of both the outline and the story. The outline consists of a set of form required form fields. This is about configuring a basic form for every article, that allows editors to fill in those fields.

Note: we will re-use or reconfigure the same set of fields in the article editor UI built in DEV-384 at a later point in time.

Goals

We have required form fields for:

  • title
  • lead text
  • date and time the article was written
  • tags

We have regular, non-required form fields for:

  • lead image with alt text, caption and image source (text field for saying e.g. "Photographer: Peter Monian" or "Image: DPA")
  • date and time the article was last updated
  • author name
  • location name (where the author has written the piece)

Added a dependancy on DEV-383, because we first have to configure the "Articles" app.

Marked this as "blocked" as we from UX have to first deliver the set of required fields that we need.

See also this wiki page showing the results of a research into the typical article structure.

Fields as described are already implemented in current article editor.
