 Description

Currently there is no contrast between input fields and background which makes it very hard to see where to input text

Related to CONTEDIT-67, which resolved plain input files, but dropdown fields are still invisible

twinkel already made a css fix for VI

The reason why we won’t fix this is that we intentionally designed the Editor to be experienced as if writing on a „blank sheet of paper“. So in this case we are moving away from classic form fields. However we’re currently still working on refining the usability to make sure that the UI doesn’t feel cluttered and that the UI also works even with no contrast between input field and background and even with a lot of metadata inputting. If you wish to customize other styling for the input fields you can use the classic app-styling approach described in documentation.
