 Description

If you copy/paste text, even plain, unformatted text, you still get empty blocks in between paragraphs. While they are probably quite harmless, it’s unnecessary:

From Jan Haderka: Could you please verify if you have extra empty line or not by end of selection when copy pasting? If your selection ends on the next line, that is interpreted as beginning of new block. If there is no empty line and selection ends by end of the text, there should be no block. In theory we could implement shortcut that would interpret such empty line as “bogus” and remove it, but it’s just opening can of worms other editors fell for in the past (e.g. confluence editor) where you then end up pilling more work arounds over such “improvement” for cases where you actually require empty block. Not sure how to move here and would like our UX experts to analyze the behavior and all possible corner cases first.

As a workaround in the mean time, if you are sure you never want such blocks in there, you should be able to remove them programmatically while saving the article.
