 Description

User story:

As an editor, I want to see what tags are applied to content items. Don't make me open each item separately, it takes too much time. I want to see tags in list and tree views.

Tasks:

  • Create a column that shows tags applied to the content item
  • In the column, display tags as tokens like in the tagging field.
  • Allow an administrator to add the column to a content app via configuration.

Sadly in our case it is impossible to use ellipsis, because it needs given width for element and we don't know width of last tag that is shown (it would be possible to calculate and set width by javascript / or in widget). But more there is a question for UX team - as tgregovsky suggested, for him will be much more relevant information how many tags are still not shown. So what about showing tags we have place for and on field end add "1/2/3 more ..." information? This solution will take same time as counting width and adding ellipsis in widget and will be much more useful. Still this is for new improvement ticket.

Decision: Use the default TokenField widget in feature launch. Do CONTTAGS-12 as an improvement later.
