 Description

Create a page which gives an overview of all ways how a user / developer can create

  • JCR nodetype
  • JCR workspace

With

  • "old way" (not referring to content-types:0.x but referring to node-types.xml and module-descriptor.xml)
  • the new way by
    • creating content-type definition item
    • creating a node-types.xml as a Magnolia Resource

Also providing pros & cons for the different possibilities - plus links to other content (which hopefully treats the distinct sup topics on depth)

Basically done, see https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS57/Defining+JCR+node+types+and+workspaces

Still required:

  • more polishing
  • maybe   /   sections (Pros and cons)
  • must be checked by devs

Page has been moved to https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS60/Defining+JCR+node+types+and+workspaces

Examples have been updated according to "CT examples - domain, name space, node types - decision" (https://goo.gl/TUSuPM).
Once the examples are on bitbucket, the code macro parameters must be updated accordingly.
Besides that - page is ready for a lang. review.

Lang-reviewed.

All done besides embedding the final remotely located examples - which will be tackled with DOCU-1675.
=> closing this one.
