As per SUPPORT-9041 it's been discovered that in JBoss deployments resteasy libraries could cause a class loading issue when RestClient module is used. In our tests we could get rid of the issue by adding the following exclusions to the deployment descriptor: jboss-deployment-structure.xml <exclude-subsystems> ... <subsystem name="jaxrs" /> <subsystem name="resteasy" /> </exclude-subsystems> However, the customer in the referenced ticket claimed that they had to exclude some more libraries. Their scenario could not be reproduced though. In any case, I think that it would be good to inform JBoss users that in case of resteasy usage, a minimum exclusions should be declared the same way it's warned with workflow or bouncycastle. This is the section that should be updated: https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS57/Deploying+a+WAR+on+JBoss+WildFly+or+EAP
