It would be realy good if there would be a modification and creation date displayed on every wiki or docu page. Then i would know since when this page is not touched by any developer. Sometimes you can draw conclusions if this page is deprecated or not. |

Confluence pages have a modification stamp by default. We hid it from documentation to give content more space and to remove distractions. You can still see the timestamp when you log in and click Tools > Page history. Granted, that's an extra step but we felt it was an acceptable compromise for a cleaner reading experience. |

@Antti: Perhaps we could move this information to the document footer? This would keep the reading experience clean while still giving readers access to useful metadata. @Marvin: In the meantime, perhaps you can use StyleBot or some other CSS-injection tool to show the metadata. Just apply this rule: div.page-metadata {
display: block;
}
