Approach is elegant, but it does need substantial knowledge. Be it with Vaadin JS integration, extensions, on the templating directive side, or finally on the Magnolia / Vaadin theme side. In the end, it's a nice combined usage of various customization entry points that Magnolia provides.

As such, I don't see ourselves necessarily documenting the whole approach officially (rather make sure all subparts are documented), but that would for sure make a great blog post.
