I got a list from bprice of broken links from the corporate website pointing to DOCS (see attachment). According to Ben most of them were broken due to our DOCS versioning process. Our process of versioning is not super optimal, but atm that's the way we doit. T.b.h. i haven't thought about the consequences concerning corporate website links, but the decisions about not cloning some pages form 5.4 DOCS to 5.5 DOCS were taken intentionally. We also have a list of redirections which are part of an apache config. For some of the links i will definitely propose the Marketing guys to adapt the links. This ticket at first is to avoid to forget the issue, and it also should be the space to write down decisions in which both Marketing (Ben) and we (docs) agree in. |

Thnks a lot ruths for the list (in the google spreadsheet). I will go through the list, and at some point i will discuss it with Ben. I assign it to me to make sure i go through the pages and then do a quick meeting with Ben. |
