Is there an official method of running Magnolia as a service via systemd (for example, in Ubuntu 16)? The closest documentation I could find was https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Deploying+a+WAR+on+Apache+Tomcat. If there is a recommended systemd unit file it would be great to see! Thanks! |

Hi Barret No, there is no official documentation which explains how to run Magnolia as a service via systemd. I would like to encourage you to ask this question in the Magnolia community forum. By the way, your question is not really Magnolia specific. It is rather about running an application server such as Tomcat and usually a DB (the persistence layer of JCR). This said, you may also ask in Tomcat user groups. I hope this helps a bit. Best regards, |
