I have reproduced the error uploading the file big-image.jpg to the magnolia cloud instance deployed at https://public-chanh-test.beta.de.magnolia-cloud.com/.magnolia/admincentral

The same file big-image.jpg uploaded to a magnolia cloud instance deployed locally worked, the local instance was pointing to a bucket of AWS S3 in a different account of Magnolia but it is not the problem as it is admincentral which rejects the file.

I tried to upload the same file in https://demo.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral and it failed too with the same error:

I tried to upload the same big file in a docker container built with the Dockerfile of /webapp and it worked.

In the logs of magnolia cloud deployed in https://public-chanh-test.beta.de.magnolia-cloud.com/.magnolia/admincentral does not appear any error related with the uploading of files.

In the logs of magnolia non-cloud deployed in https://demo.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral  does not appear any error related with the uploading of files.

Probably the limitation in the size of files is caused by a configuration in the infrastructure where are deployed magnolia cloud and magnolia non-cloud.

SRE team has opened the ticket https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/SRE-2579 to check the configuration of nginx in the infra. of Magnolia.
