 Description

Steps to reproduce

  1.  Forbid access to default region: s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com
  2.  Open External DAM S3

Expected results

it works, or if it doesn't work, it should be able to be configurable in a way.

Actual results

it doesn't work and it is not configurable.

Workaround

Allow access to s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com (but it is not always possible since as per GDPR it is not allowed any cloud connection beyond EU)

Development notes

Here is where it is implemented: https://git.magnolia-cms.com/projects/ADDON/repos/external-dams/browse/magnolia-externa[]…/magnolia/external/dam/s3/service/AmazonS3GatewayImpl.java

I would be nice to make it configurable as far as some customer have Security policies (Service Control Policies) due to security reasons. The organization "Deny access to AWS based on the requested AWS Region" which is a common use case.
