 Description

Use case

  • There are 200 S3 buckets for different departments of the company
  • Only 5 of those buckets contain images useful to department ABC that uses magnolia
  • Assets app users from ABC dept should not see the 195 other buckets which are maybe private or irrelevant to them
  • Therefore, the admin configures only the buckets named abc* to be displayed in magnolia assets app

By default, customers can provision up to 100 buckets per AWS account. However, you can increase your Amazon S3 bucket limit by visiting AWS Service Limits.

AC

  • Have capabilities to let users filter buckets (whitelist)
    • For MVP: we go with the regex approach to whitelist buckets
