 Description

User story:

As a practitioner, when I import an XML file into the Magnolia DAM, I want the system to do recognition on imported images and apply tag suggestions. It is too time consuming to open and save each image separately just to trigger recognition.

Acceptance criteria:

  • Recognize and tag images when the user imports an XML file into the DAM.
  • Recognition and tagging multiple images should not block the UI or prevent the user from doing other tasks.

Notes:

Consider doing recognition and tagging of multiple images as a background task. It does not have to be instant. You could launch a long-running background action and notify the user via Pulse when the tagging process has completed.
