 Description

User story:

As a practitioner, I want to compare image recognition providers, so that I find one that fits my tagging needs best. I want to disable one provider while I try another.

Acceptance criteria:

  • User can enable and disable recognition providers via configuration.
  • Configuration is in a place that is accessible to practitioners (editors).
  • User does not need to restart Magnolia in order to switch between already installed providers.

Notes:

Without going into implementation details, a simple enabled=true/false property under the provider configuration would work fine. Today, there's no obvious way to turn off the local model while using Amazon Rekognition for instance.
